The project brief included moving staff from Viridian HQ in Clapham and re-stacking staff already located in Grosvenor House in Croydon. Full logistical coordination of 2 buildings were required, a total of 55’000 SF transformed and movement of almost 1000 members of staff between the sites.

MDC Group carried out the complete redesign and introduction of colour zoning on each floor of the 10 storey building which drew inspiration from ‘natural elements’ after consulting with the client project champions during a 4 week consultation process.

The client had to be introduced to a new hotdesking culture, adopting new room booking technology and open plan meeting spaces to facilitate flexibility and more frequent use of spaces. The project champions and management steering committee were convinced to remove all pedestals apart from department managers and all toilets and tea points were also refurbished during this project to enhance all feature for users.
